2022 AWB RFC the Railway and Terminal Advisory Groups meeting

On 10 November 2022 AWB RFC held a meeting with the Railway and Terminal Advisory Groups. The meeting took place in the Slovenian capital Ljubljana, in the presence of Ms. Helga Steinberger, madame chair of the AWB RFC General Assembly.
The RAG TAG meeting was organized with the main purpose to inform customers about recent developments and planned activities by the corridor and to exchange on critical topics, where customers are facing challenges for a smooth operation of freight traffic on railway lines of the corridor.
Among other contents such as a timetable redesign, a train information system, and also a pilot project with the aim to reduce border dwelling time on borders were presented.
Participants also discussed the new TEN-T Regulation that provides a unique opportunity for all EU Member States and stakeholders to develop a European transport network, which is connected, innovative, competitive, resilient, and sustainable.
Participants addressed in particular aspects related to funding, governance, operational and technical parameters as well as innovation.
